Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients

2 lbs ground hamburg
chopped yellow onion
chopped green bell pepper
12 oz tomato paste
12 oz water
12 oz spaghetti sauce
oregano
basil
garlic powder
onion powder
crackers
eggs

Instructions

1.) Chop the onion and bell pepper.

2.) Brown them in a pan using oil. Set aside in a bowl. 

3.) In the largest pan you have, mix 12 oz of tomato paste, 12 oz of spaghetti sauce, and 12 oz of water in a large pan. Simmer at 1-3 (scale of 1-10)

4.) Add to the sauce, 1/4 teaspoon of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of oregano, 1/4 of a teaspoon of onion powder, optional 1/4 of a teaspoon of black pepper. Add browned vegetables. Mix well. Let simmer.

5.) Place hamburg meat in a large bowl.

6.) Crush 1/2 of a cup of Ritz crackers and add water. Add to hamburg mixture.

7.) Add 1 egg, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic, 1 teaspoon of oregano, 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder, and optional 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix well.

8.) Heat oil in an empty pan, heat set to 2-5 (scale of 1-10). Create meatballs and brown all sides of the meatballs.

9.) Add the browned meatballs to the sauce mixture. Let sit for at least 30 minutes. The longer the better. Keep heat low, stir sauce and turn meatballs.

10.) Boil your pasta. Combine and serve.
